In contrast, Umag provides numerous sporting possibilities: from diving, sailing, waterskiing, cycling and hiking to horse-riding, beach volleyball and tennis. Umag also hosts a top-level ATP tennis tournament and the Croatian Open every year. Golfers will find the popular Kempinski Golf Adriatic Club a 20-minute drive away. The surrounding area is also known for its production of wine and olive oil and is full of vineyards, olive groves and agriculture. Guests will find a number of winemakers in the area including the Coronica Winery which is a 9-minute drive away.
